I have been using a Windows Media Center PC at home for about 9 months now. It is connected to our TV in the living room, and has completely changed the way we use media. Writing a plugin for Media Center has always interested me, and I think I actually have some time over the next month or so to do something about it. I have a couple of ideas in mind:

1. iTunes integration - HP recently came out with this for their PCs (HPTunes), but it is not available to non-HP systems.
2. Web browser integration
3. Timers for music/slideshows
4. Gmail integration
5. Audio equalizer
6. Edit recorded tv

I did a little research, and I think the web browser integration probably has the most interest. In addition, it doesn’t seem like there are any developers pursuing this arena.
